Liverpool History

Liverpool football club were found in 1892 they were split apart from Everton FC and they joined the football league. they appointed Tom Watson as their first ever manager and he got off to a good start with winning two league championships and then another two in the 1920's then yet another one in 1947. but this great successful run came to in end after 50 consecutive years in the first division Liverpool were relegated in 1954. bill shankly was appointed in 1959 as the new Liverpool manager and got Liverpool back into the first division he won many leagues there and 4 European cups. after that they struggled to keep on going in the premiership but in 2005 Liverpool travelled to Istanbul for the champions league final to play against Milan and being 3-0 down at half time they came back and won on penalties.

Klopps first win and loss!

last week liverpool had a great result to come from behind against chelsea to win after two great goals from Couthino and a goal from the sub Benteke to get Klopp his first premier league win for liverpool. but unfortunatly over the last weekend we lost to crystal palace in a 2-1 game after Couthino had equalised after Bolasie but then Scott Dann put in the winner after a rebound from his first effort on Mignolet.

Klopps big game

Jurgen Klopp is coming closer on his first game as the Liverpool manager he will be playing the early game this Saturday. Its bad enough hearing about the injurys that Liverpool have such as benteke but after hearing Joe Gomez and Danny Ings out for the rest of the season its going to be a difficult start for the new Liverpool manager to pick his starting eleven. Kloop had his second press conference and he has told the players "to open their chests" and to play with "bravery and fun.

Klopp has been down to work after he has had his first training session as the new Liverpool manager although it was only with the players that are not gone off on the international duty. the majority of Liverpool's first-team squad were not available for training. Nine senior players are currently out on international duty,

Klopp signs

Klopp arrived in Merseyside last night and had become the new Liverpool by nine o'clock last night
the former Dortmund manager was unveiled as the new manager earlier this morning in a news conference.

after a couple of days on a manager hunt Liverpool have finally agreed to sign Jurgen Klopp as their next manager. Klopp will be heading over to Merseyside this afternoon and he is expeted to sign by Friday morning . Klopp joined Dortmund in 2008 and in 2011 and 2012 he won back to back bundesligas aswell as the DFB-Pokal in 2012 and he also won the DFL-supercup 3 times. in 2013 he made it to the champions leagues final but unfortunately he lost to the dortmunds rivals Bayern Munich. So clearly Jurgen Klopp is a successful man in the past and hopefully he can bring that to Liverpool.
